Copari AI Safety Charter

Last updated: February 2025 | Version: 1.0

Copari is not legal advice, emergency support, a safeguarding service, a domestic abuse advice service, a formal risk assessment service, a diagnosis tool, a court outcome predictor, or a replacement for qualified professionals.

What Copari AI Is Designed To Help With

Copari is a UK-focused AI-powered communication coaching and evidence/record-organisation platform for separated or divorcing parents. It helps users communicate calmly, factually, and with the child in mind; document incidents; organise evidence; review possible repeated communication themes; and prepare clearer information for professional discussions.

  • Message Studio: Helps users prepare calmer, more factual, child-focused replies. It can help users pause before replying and reduce escalation, but it does not decide what a user should send or mean that a message is legally safe, complete, or suitable for every situation.
  • Breather: Helps users pause, take a breath, self-regulate, and avoid replying while distressed or escalated. It does not replace mental health support or crisis support.
  • Copari Patterns: Helps users review saved records and notice possible repeated communication themes over time. It supports reflection and preparation for professional discussions, but it does not prove a pattern, diagnose another person, or determine abuse, coercive control, harm, safeguarding risk, or legal risk.
  • Smart Diary and Evidence Locker: Help users keep clearer personal records of what happened, when it happened, and why it mattered to them or their child. They help organise user-provided records, but they do not verify whether records are complete, accurate, legally significant, or sufficient for any court or professional purpose.
  • Professional preparation tools: May summarise, organise, and structure records that the user has entered, saved, or selected within Copari. These summaries are intended to help users prepare for discussions with a solicitor, mediator, Cafcass, support worker, therapist, or another appropriate professional.
  • Support directory: Helps users find UK organisations that may be relevant to their circumstances.

How Copari Uses User-Provided Records

Copari works from information a user enters, saves, uploads, or selects within the product. It must not add facts from outside the user's records, invent logistics, invent court-order details, invent evidence, or invent user history.

Users should review any AI-generated summary carefully before relying on it. Professionals remain responsible for their own assessment, advice, and decisions.

What Copari AI Does Not Do

  • Copari does not provide legal advice, legal interpretation, safeguarding advice, domestic abuse advice, formal risk assessment, or professional judgement.
  • Copari does not determine whether abuse, coercive control, harm, safeguarding risk, legal risk, or any other legal or professional threshold has occurred.
  • Copari does not verify truth, prove behaviour, make findings, assess whether evidence is sufficient, or predict what a professional or court will decide.
  • Copari does not diagnose any person or replace mental health, crisis, therapeutic, mediation, legal, policing, social work, Cafcass, domestic abuse, or other qualified professional support.
  • Copari does not promise that AI outputs are accurate, complete, safe, legally suitable, or appropriate for a particular family or situation.

AI Limitations

Copari AI can misunderstand context, miss important details, or produce suggestions that are not suitable for a particular situation. AI output should be treated as a draft or organisational aid, not as a final decision or professional conclusion.

Users should read AI outputs carefully, edit them where needed, and avoid relying on them for legal, safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health, financial, or emergency decisions.

When To Seek Qualified Support

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

For safeguarding, domestic abuse, legal, mental health, financial, or emergency concerns, users should contact appropriate qualified professionals or specialist organisations directly. Copari can help users organise information for those conversations, but it cannot decide what support a user needs.

  • Legal matters: Speak to a qualified solicitor or appropriate legal professional.
  • Safeguarding or child welfare concerns: Contact appropriate local services, police, Cafcass, or another qualified professional or specialist organisation.
  • Domestic abuse concerns: Contact a specialist domestic abuse service or another qualified support organisation directly.
  • Mental health or crisis concerns: Contact a GP, therapist, crisis service, emergency service, or another qualified professional.
  • Financial concerns: Contact an appropriate financial, legal, or debt advice professional.

Public Resources and Specialist Organisations

Copari may link to public resources and specialist organisations users may wish to consider. These links are for information and signposting only.

Copari makes reasonable efforts to check that listed UK organisations appear legitimate and relevant using available public information and reasonable checks. A listing does not mean Copari endorses the organisation, has checked suitability for a particular user, or has assessed whether it is appropriate for a particular family or situation.
